Walkbus is a Brazilian automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The company was founded in 1976 in São Paulo . The first field of activity was the plastics industry . From 1982 bodies for motor vehicles and conversions were made. The brand name is Walk . Passenger cars , buses and coaches were added later .

First, vehicles were converted according to personal wishes in a kind of vehicle tuning. Pick-ups were also given a double cab .

Also in 2004, a kind of VW buggy supplemented the range with the Sport . The open body had no doors and offered space for four people. There was a roll-over device behind the front seats . A rear window from the Ford Ka served as a windshield . The vehicles were powered by an air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine . It is not specified when this model was discontinued.

Since 2004 buses and coaches have been produced.
