Industrial Veículos Vendetta Equus Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Fortaleza in 1990 . The production of automobiles began, which were marketed as Equus . Production ended in 2005.

There was no connection to Py Motors from Nova Iguaçu , who used the same brand name from 1986.

vehicles

The VW buggies Future , Maxxis and Uniko were on offer . The latter two were better equipped than the Future . A specially made tubular frame formed the basis. An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil was mounted in the rear and powered the rear wheels.

In 2004 the off-road vehicle Thundix and Thunder followed . This Jeep- like car had all-wheel drive and a fiberglass body. A water-cooled VW engine with a choice of 1,800cc displacement or 2000 cc powered vehicles.
