Quíron Indústria e Comércio de Artefatos de Fibra de Vidro Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles based in Curitiba .

Company history

The company manufactured automobiles in the 1990s. The brand name was Quiron .

The only model was a mix of VW buggy and sports car with a resemblance to the Chevrolet Corvette . The open body was made of fiberglass . Behind the front seats was a roll bar , which in some versions was connected to the frame of the windshield with a strut . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil with a displacement of 1600 cm³ was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels.
