Fera (car brand)

Fera was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

Founded in 1948, Indústria de Artefatos Metálicos Bola SA from São Paulo began manufacturing automobiles in 1979. The brand name was Fera . Twelve vehicles were built by 1983.

Indusfera Indústria e Comércio from Guarulhos continued production until 1988. Americar Veículos Especiais later took over the designs.

Henrique Erwene designed the only model. The XK 4.1 HE was a replica of the Jaguar XK 120 . The grille , however, was similar to that of the Jaguar XK 150 . The base was a tubular frame. A fiberglass body was mounted on it, which was a little longer and wider than the original. A six-cylinder engine from the Chevrolet Opala with 4093 cm³ displacement and 171  hp propelled the vehicles.
