Penatti Projetos is a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Alexander Penatti founded the company in Itu in 2005 to manufacture automobiles and kit cars . The brand name is Penatti .

The first to appear were Baja Bugs , which are still in the range. A VW Beetle is being converted for this purpose. Some of the attachments are made of fiberglass . The chassis and the air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine remain unchanged.

The replica of the VW Kübelwagen was added later . The windshield can be folded forward. The spare wheel is mounted on the front hood .

In 2010 a Baja bug based on the VW Brasília followed .

Replicas of a coupé from Willys-Overland from 1941 and a roadster from Ford from 1934 as hot rods are also in the range.

The company also produces several versions of VW buggies .
