Enseada Veiculos Especiais Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1987 in São Paulo . It built automobiles and kit cars under the Enseada brand name . Production ran until the late 1990s.

vehicles

The first model was a replica of the MG TD . An unabridged chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil with a rear engine formed the basis. The body was made of fiberglass .

In 1988 the Plus and Mini-Buggy Plus models added to the range. A little later the Tupy was added. These were VW buggies . Depending on the model, they had a shortened or a full VW chassis with two or four seats and an open body.

Between 1990 and 1992 there were also replicas of the Porsche 550 and Porsche 911 on the same basis .
