Magnata is a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A Fortaleza company started producing automobiles in the mid-1980s. The brand name was Magnata . Production initially ended in 1994.

BRM Buggy from São Bernardo do Campo took over the trademark rights in 1997, but did not use them.

Kaltec has been producing vehicles of this brand from Eusébio since 2011 .

A shortened chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil formed the basis until 1994 . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels. Square headlights were integrated into the front of the vehicle. The taillights came from the VW bus . The basic version St. Tropez found the most buyers. LSE was its luxury version.
