Duna (Portuguese for dune ) was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A company from São José started producing automobiles in 1987. The brand name was Duna . In 1999 production finally ended after it had been idle for a while.

There was no connection to the car brand of the same name from Pereiras , Duna , which was sold until 1980.

A VW buggy was on offer . It was based on the Belfusca by Santina Veículos . There were two large rectangular headlights at the front. There was a roll-over device behind the front seats . The chassis and engine are not explicitly handed down, but Santina Veículos used air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engines from Volkswagen do Brasil .
