Swell is a Brazilian automotive brand . The manufacturer is WMF Design Indústria e Comércio Ltda.

Brand history

The company was founded in São Paulo in 1984 to manufacture automobiles and kit cars . In 1990 children's cars were added. Car production ended in the 1990s. Since 2010, watercraft have also been built.

The only car model was a VW buggy , inspired by the Kadron . A chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil shortened by 35 cm formed the basis. The open fiberglass body had no doors. The headlights were partially integrated into the front of the vehicle. An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine in the rear drove the rear wheels.
