Mont Serrat Exclusive Auto Service was a Brazilian auto repair shop and manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Atibaia company was originally a car repair shop . In 1981 the production of automobiles began under the direction of Eduardo di Nizo. The brand name was Mont Serrat . The production capacity was two to three vehicles per month. Production ended a little later. Few vehicles were sold due to the high price.

The only model, like the Diardo 1.5 from Corona Viaturas e Equipamentos, was based on the Fiat X1 / 9 . Visually, the changes were limited to the front headlights , fog lights , rear lights from the Chevrolet Opala , rear spoiler and Targa roof . The interior was particularly luxurious and included a starter button instead of the ignition lock , air conditioning , electric windows , electric door locks and an elaborate music system.
