Santeiro was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A company with headquarters at Rua Quintão in the district Cascadura in Rio de Janeiro began in 1986 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Santeiro . There is still an advertisement for 1987. After that, production ended. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

There were two VW buggies on offer . The open, doorless body was made of fiberglass . There was a roll bar behind the front seats . Large angular headlights were integrated into the front of the vehicle. On one model there was a wrong grille in between . An air-cooled engine propelled the vehicles.
