Way Brasil Ltda. is a Brazilian manufacturer of boats and automobiles .
Company history
José Maria Cechelero Jr. founded the company in Curitiba in 1984 . Also D'José Indústria de Artefatos de Fibra de Vidro Ltda. is handed down. He started producing automobiles and kit cars . The brand name is Way . In 1988 kayaks and hardtops and later boats and other plastic products were added. At the beginning of the 1990s, a larger plant was moved into in São José dos Pinhais . In 2004 there was a collaboration with Montadora Nacional de Automóveis and in 2009 with Wake Motors . Since then, the focus has been on boat building.
In September 2016, the company announced the merger with Boatsp to form the Triton Group .
Automobiles
VW buggies are on offer . The basis was initially a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine was mounted in the rear and propelled the vehicles.
