Fibron Industrial Ltda. was a Brazilian company and manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in 1979 in Belo Horizonte . The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Fibron . Automobile production ended around 1987. In total, fewer than 100 vehicles were built. After that, the company made light aircraft, swimming pools and boats out of fiberglass .

The first model was the VW Fox buggy .
In November 1981 the Fibron 274 small car was presented. The closed two-seater vehicle with a fiberglass body was 274 cm long. The prototype had a half air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil , ie a two-cylinder engine with 643 cm³ displacement and 20 hp . For the series engines with 800 cm³ displacement (again a halved engine), 1000 cm³ displacement and 1300 cm³ displacement from VW were planned. Two different equipment variants were also planned.
Also in 1981 the tricycle Saci , later renamed Grilo , was at a motor show. It was based on parts from Lambretta . A single cylinder engine with 175 cm³ displacement and 8.76 HP power drove the rear wheels. The vehicle was 2 meters long and had a fiberglass body.
The Shock appeared in 1985 . This was a further development of the Fibron 274 . It had an electric motor with 10 HP, in a cheaper version with 7 HP. Shock I and Shock II were variants of this model. From Shock I picture one is convertible handed.
