Corin Nemec (* 5. November 1971 in Little Rock , Arkansas as Joseph Nemec Charles IV ) is an American actor .

Life

Corin Nemec's stage name is derived from his nickname Corky, which his grandmother gave him in his childhood. He was born in Arkansas, moved his family - he also has an older sister - to Atlanta and later to California . His father, Joseph Nemec III , also works as a film architect in the cinema industry.

Even as a child, Nemec was interested in acting. He had his first television appearances in 1986, still as Corky Nemec, in the television series Sidekicks and Webster . 1988 followed the first role in the feature film Tucker - A man and his dream at the side of Jeff Bridges . In 1988 he played in the two-parter Steven - The Abduction and was nominated for an Emmy for his acting performance . Corin Nemec had his breakthrough in 1990 with the lead role in the television series Parker Lewis - The Cool One from School , which was produced until 1993. For the 2013 film Poseidon Rex , Nemec was originally engaged as the lead actor. At the beginning of the shooting, however, he had a serious accident when the boat on which he was transported with the film crew collided with another boat. Nemec suffered a complicated leg injury and lost so much blood that the only way to save him was through several transfusions . Brian Krause then took on the leading role in the film .

Nemec is the father of two children. He lives in Hollywood .
