Daniel Friedl
Daniel Friedl (born August 20, 1989 in Bruchsal ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .
Life
After graduating from the Leibniz-Gymnasium Östringen and doing community service in the Sankt Rochus Clinics , he studied drama at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts until 2014 . During his studies he already worked in productions at the Freiburg Theater , at the Stuttgart State Theater and at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe .
From 2014 to 2019 he was a permanent member of the State Theater in Mainz . The spectrum of his previous artistic work ranges from entertainment evenings, operettas and text areas, but also dance evenings to tragedies. For the 2019/2020 season he will move to the Heidelberg Theater and Orchestra .
In addition, he works as a radio and radio drama speaker on various productions, including those of SWR , hr and Arte , and works for film and television.
In the Netflix Original Series We Are the Wave , published in 2019 , he embodies the leading role Hagen Lemmart.
Awards
For the title role Oedipus at the Mainz State Theater, Friedl was nominated as Young Actor of the Year 2018 in the critics' survey by Theater heute .
The radio play Mrs. Fledder and Mr. Lemon, with Friedl in a main role, won second place in the children's radio play award of the MDR in 2016 .
We are the wave was nominated for the Grimme Prize 2020 in the category children and youth.
