Daniel Hilpert (born July 27, 1981 in Aschaffenburg ) is a former German ice hockey player who was active at ERC Ingolstadt , EV Duisburg , EHC Munich and the Hannover Indians , among others .

Career

Hilpert began his career with the juniors of Starbulls Rosenheim in 1997. In 1999 he joined the young eagles Mannheim , a junior team of the DEL record champions Adler Mannheim , which competes in the German junior league and in which talented young players are introduced to the professional business. Via the Landshut Cannibals team , the left-handed shooter succeeded in switching to the DEL at ERC Ingolstadt in the 2003/04 season .

For the league competitor EV Duisburg , for whom he went on the ice between 2007 and 2009, he completed a total of 103 DEL games and scored 18 points scorer. After the EVD was excluded from the DEL in 2009, Hilpert left the club and switched to the EHC Munich. After the termination of his contract with EHC Munich, the defender was signed by the Hanover Indians in May 2011 .

After the insolvency of the Hannover Indians, he moved to SC Riessersee in July 2013 . After a DEL2 season at SC Riessersee Hilpert signed a contract with the fourth-rate Bayernliga playing TEV Miesbach . The reason for the change was the retraining that followed the end of his professional career. In 2017 he ended his career at EHC Waldkraiburg .

International

In 1999 , 2000 and 2001 Hilpert also played in three Junior World Championships and scored one goal.
