Daniel da Mota Alves (born September 11, 1985 in Ettelbruck ) is a Luxembourg soccer player .

Da Mota began his footballer career in the youth of Etzella Ettelbrück and was in the 2002/03 season for the first time in the squad of the then Luxembourg second division. In the 2006/07 season he was the top scorer in the national division with 26 goals . After 133 games and 77 goals for Etzella Ettelbrück, he moved to F91 Dudelange in summer 2008 .
