David Geddes (cameraman)

David A. Geddes , also Dave Geddes (* 1949 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a Canadian cameraman .

Life

David Geddes studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts as well as the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Simon Fraser University .

He began his career as a cameraman with 16mm film for reports, documentaries and commercials. In the late 1980s he turned to television and directed numerous episodes of the series 21 Jump Street - Crime Scene Classroom and Beverly Hills, 90210 . This was followed by numerous television films and first cinema productions.

Geddes is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).

His son Shane Geddes also works as a cameraman.
