MacGyver - Endstation Hell (Original title: MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday ) is an American television film from 1994 and as such an offshoot of the television series MacGyver .

action

Invited for the 40th birthday of his friend Paul, MacGyver travels to England , where the celebration takes place near London on the mansion of Paul's brother Frederick. Shortly after MacGyver's arrival, several terrorists disguised as waiters began shooting wildly. They fatally hit Paul in the chest and kidnap his daughter Elise, whose body is found a little later on a river. Inspector Capshaw takes over the case, but MacGyver decides to do his own research and find the killers.

Frederick's confidante Natalia, a former KGB agent, arranges for MacGyver to meet Nikolai, an informant who MacGyver learns about where he can find the terrorist boss. In a London warehouse, MacGyver encounters several men of the gang. One of them attacks him, but MacGyver overpowers him, proving himself worthy to meet the leader. MacGyver finds this man and one other dead at the agreed meeting point. The marker on a map then leads him into the London sewer system, where he finds a hiding-place that indicates that Paul was the target of the attack and not, as was initially assumed, his rich brother. When poison gas is distributed in the sewer, MacGyver barely escapes, but collapses shortly afterwards. He comes to in Natalia's bed. Together they go to the laboratory where Paul was working on a device that can detect the smallest amounts of ionizing radiation . However, all documents relating to a series of experiments carried out by Paul were stolen in a burglary and the only person Paul had confided his knowledge to was Elise.

In Paul's personal belongings, MacGyver finds a capsule that turns out to be uranium . Paul had apparently discovered the illegal uranium trade. Based on an inscription on the capsule, MacGyver discovers that Carcroft Castle and thus Frederick's friend Anthony Graves are connected to the uranium. After MacGyver narrowly escaped death in the explosion of his car, he stops by Graves. This is dead in his living room. As MacGyver leans over the body, Inspector Capshaw storms the house with his men. Suspected of murder, MacGyver escapes into the subway and is able to hide from the police there. Then he seeks Natalia and accuses her of having lured him into a trap. However, Natalia convinces him that Inspector Capshaw is probably behind the murder of Graves. She wants to get more information through Nicolai and MacGyver is supposed to meet her the following evening. Natalia is shot by three killers who then follow the escaping MacGyver into the sewer system. But again this can hide successfully.

A motorcyclist eventually takes MacGyver to Carcroft Castle. Unnoticed by several guards, MacGyver arrives at the castle, where unexpectedly he finds Elise in a room with Dr. Massey, who worked in Paul's lab. With a book he beats Dr. Massey down. Elise, whose alleged corpse was another woman who had been made unrecognizable, is held in the castle in order to reveal the software code of Paul's spectrometer to those who commissioned the murder . She tells MacGyver that there is a uranium enrichment facility in the castle . With the promise to free her later, MacGyver goes to the facility, where Frederick finally threatens him with a gun. He expects great profits from the illegal uranium trade and therefore commissioned the murder of his brother after Paul had discovered his secret facility. MacGyver can, however, incapacitate Frederick and gain access to a control center. There Natalia appears surprisingly, who is in cahoots with Frederick and had only staged her death. With nuclear weapons it wants to save communism and restore the Soviet Union as such. MacGyver points out to her that she is a hypocrite because she collaborates with Frederick, a capitalist, to do this. Natalia then shoots Frederick and arm an atomic bomb when MacGyver tries to shut down the facility. MacGyver knocks Natalia down and at the last moment is able to defuse the bomb thanks to a tennis racket and three metal pins. Back in London, Inspector Capshaw MacGyver congratulates on clearing up the case. Then MacGyver meets with Elise and walks with her along the Thames .
