Dennis Chessa (born October 19, 1992 in Günzburg ) is a German soccer player . He is usually used on the left side either in defense or in midfield.
Career
society
On August 1, 2008, Dennis Chessa moved from the soccer department of SSV Ulm 1846 to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich and received a contract valid until 2011. On June 27, 2009 he was substituted on at the beginning of extra time in the final of the German B-Junior Championship , which was lost 3-1 to VfB Stuttgart . From the 2009/10 season he played for the A-Juniors of FC Bayern Munich in the U-19 Bundesliga (season south / south-west).
Chessa made her debut on April 10, 2010 (33rd match day) in the 3rd division in a 3-0 win in the home game against Borussia Dortmund II , when he came on for Christoph Knasmüllner in the 88th minute . After he had already made four appearances in the 3rd division as a junior player, from the 2011/12 season he was part of the squad of the second team that played their games in the fourth-rate regional league Bayern . He scored his first league goal in the senior division on December 12, 2011 (21st match day) in a 2-2 home game against SV Waldhof Mannheim with the goal to make it 1-0 in the 44th minute.
In the summer of 2014 Chessa moved to the second division club VfR Aalen , with whom he signed a two-year contract. On September 23, 2014 he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga when he came on in the 81st minute for Michael Klauss in the 1-1 away game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth .
For the 2016/17 season Chessa moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Ried , with whom he received a contract valid until June 30, 2018. He made his debut in the top Austrian league on matchday two in a 1-0 win at home against SK Sturm Graz .
After relegation from the Bundesliga, he returned to Germany for the 2017/18 season, where he joined the regional division KFC Uerdingen , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2018. After the promotion with the KFC as regional league champion, Chessa was only used as a substitute and only played six games in the third division . His contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended.
For the 2019/20 regional league season , FK Pirmasens signed the defensive player and provided him with a one-year contract.
National team
His first game in the jersey of the U16 national team played Chessa on September 22, 2007 in Meerbusch-Büderich in a 3-1 win over Denmark. Two days later, in the 1-0 defeat in Wülfrath , he played again against Denmark's national team. On November 23 and 25, 2007 he came to two more missions against Tunisia's national team, which ended 1: 1 and 1: 0 in Sousse .
In the U17 national team he made his debut on October 14, 2008 in Bad Brückenau in a 1-0 win against the national team of the Czech Republic. On October 17 and 19, 2008, he completed his last two international matches in Hanau and Aschaffenburg , which ended 5-0 and 0-0 against the national team of Russia.
