history
Deuenbach was first mentioned in a document in 1282. At that time, the place was under the Lords of Schopfloch . Later Dinkelsbühler citizens were wealthy. In 1719 the place was sold to the Principality of Ansbach .
In 1732 there were 11 properties with 13 teams (1 half yard, 2 half yards with double crew, 3 estates, 5 houses). There was also a lock. The place was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The Fraisch was also claimed by the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen- Spielberg . The caste office Feuchtwangen exercised the village and community rule and the lordship over all properties . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 27 properties, all of which had the Feuchtwangen caste office as the landlord (5 half yards , 3 quarter yards , 1 estate, 2 small estates , 4 small Sölden houses , 10 half Sölden houses, 2 half houses). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .
As a result of the community edict, Deuenbach was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Schopfloch in 1809 .
