The cases of Mr. Konstantin is a 13-part early evening series that was first broadcast in two seasons in 1974 (seven parts) and 1977 (six parts) in some regional programs of the ARD . It was produced for Westdeutsches Werbefernsehen GmbH .

content

Together with his colleagues from Bremer and Brenig, Mr. Konstantin uncovered espionage cases that seemingly innocent citizens commit, and can arrest not only these, but also those behind them and clients.

Others

The individual cases were based on actual events. During the filming, there was a serious accident that resulted in over a hundred broken bones and a nine-hour operation for a stuntman who had crashed a car head-on into a tree.

The series was broadcast in the regional program of West German Broadcasting (WDR), Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR) and Südwestfunk (SWF) as well as Bavarian (BR) and North German Broadcasting (NDR).

The first episode of the first season was broadcast on May 2, 1974 on WDR. It then ran differently at weekly intervals, sometimes at 14-day intervals until July 4th. The broadcast dates differ on the crime thriller website and on IMDb . The dates listed at IMDb are mentioned in the episode list. SDR and SWF began broadcasting the first season in November 1976, in BR it ran from June to July 1976. Season 2 ran weekly on SDR and SWF from January 10, 1977, the dates on IMDb correspond to those on the crime website and are listed in the episode list.

One episode of the first season was shown on each broadcast day in two parts, for example on WDR at 6:10 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Each episode also had two different titles. Within the second season, both parts of an episode had the same title and were only referred to as part 1 and part 2. Some regional channels (which these were could not be determined) also broadcast the individual episodes without interruption.
