Dietmar Obst

Dietmar Obst (born July 26, 1940 ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Dietmar Obst learned his artistic craft at the Halle Drama Studio. From 1960 to 1966 he had his first engagement at the local theater . In 1966 he moved to Berlin's Maxim Gorki Theater , whose ensemble he was a member until the end of the 2005/06 season.

Obst also worked extensively as a film and television actor. In addition to guest roles in the series Polizeiruf 110 and The Public Prosecutor Has the Word , he was seen in the DEFA music film Wedding Night in the Rain or the German-Soviet film adaptation of Black Rusk . After the reunification , Obst only appeared sporadically in front of the camera, including playing a dementia patient in the award-winning short film For you with me in 2016 .

In addition, Obst was a very busy radio play speaker with around 180 appearances between 1970 and 1998. In the multi-part series Neumann, Ring Twice , he spoke the character of Benno in many episodes . In addition, fruit was occasionally used in the synchronization.
