Dobersdorf , Polish Dobieszowice , is a village in Upper Silesia . Dobersdorf is located in the municipality of Walzen in the Powiat Krapkowicki in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

Dobersdorf is located two kilometers south-east of the municipality of Walzen , 13 kilometers south of the district town of Krapkowice (Krappitz) and 35 kilometers south of the voivodeship capital Opole .

history

Dobersdorf was first mentioned in 1267 as Dobreschiezi .

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 304 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 85 for Poland. Dobersdorf remained with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 796 inhabitants. In 1939 the place had 798 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Dobieszowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Krapkowicki . On April 4, 2006, German was introduced as the second official language in the municipality of Walzen, to which Dobersdorf belongs, and on June 3, 2009 the place was also given the official German place name Dobersdorf .

This village should not be confused with Dobersdorf in the district of Leobschütz , a village about 24 kilometers away in the former district of Leobschütz in Silesia, today Dobieszów in the Powiat Głubczycki, Poland.
