Dolany (German Dollan ) is a district of the municipality Hluboká in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers southeast of Luže and belongs to the Okres Chrudim .

geography

Dolany is located in the Novohradská stupňovina ( Neuschlosser stepland ) on the edge of the nature park Údolí Krounky a Novohradky . The hamlet is located at the eastern foot of the Kozinec (419 m nm) at the confluence of the Pivnice in the Novohradka . Dolany has no road connection to the other parts of the municipality.

Neighboring towns are Sobotka, Doubravice and Dvořiště in the north, Leština and Podhořany u Nových Hradů in the northeast, Dolanský Mlýn, Mokrá Lhota and Nové Hrady in the east, Haberka, Dudychov and Bor u Skutče in the southeast, Zderaz , Obleezciny and Perářícka in the south Střítež in the south-west, Zhoř , Zadní Borek and Lhota u Skutče in the west and Brdo , Hlubočice , Chlum and Podchlum in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of Dolany was in 1392.

In 1835 the scattered rustic village of Dollan in the Chrudim district consisted of 8 houses in which 45 people lived. Dollan was assigned to the Brdo court. The parish was Neuschloß . Until the middle of the 19th century, Dollan remained subject to the allodial rule of Richenburg .

After the abolition of patrimonial Dolany formed a part of the municipality Doly in the judicial district Skuch . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Dolany had 104 inhabitants, in 1890 there were 47. In 1949 the village was umgemeindet to Střítež. Since 1961 the village belongs to Okres Chrudim . In 1964 it was incorporated into Hluboká. In 1970 15 people lived in the village. On January 1, 1989 Dolany was incorporated into Skuteč ; since August 31, 1990 the village has belonged again to the municipality of Hluboká. In the 2001 census, Dolany consisted of 7 houses with 5 people living in them.
