Dominic Auger (born January 12, 1977 in Montmagny , Québec ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Königsbrunn in the Bavarian League since 2018 .
Career
Dominic Auger began his career on the Princeton University team , for which he was on the ice in the NCAA game operations . In 1997, the defender moved to the Remparts de Québec in the Canadian junior league QMJHL , which he left after a season in the direction of St. Francis Xavier University , where the left-handed shooter finished his studies and at the same time played in the Canadian college sports organization CIAU, today's CIS . In 2001 Auger signed a contract with ESV Kaufbeuren from the German league , with which he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in his first season . Overall, the Canadians played five years in Kaufbeuren until the 2006/07 season for Schwenninger ERC changed and there denied 100 games in two seasons.
With the resurgence of the Kassel Huskies in the German ice hockey league for the 2008/09 season , Auger signed a one-year contract with North Hesse, but switched to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga on December 29, 2009 at EHC Munich . However, he left this at the end of the season to join the Starbulls Rosenheim , who had been promoted to the same league , where he laced his skates until the 2013/14 season , even as assistant captain for two seasons . For the 2014/15 season , the native Canadian signed a contract with the Bietigheim Steelers , who like the Starbulls play in the DEL2. He won the DEL2 championship with the Steelers in 2015 and 2018, before ending his professional career in July 2018 and playing as an amateur for the EHC Königsbrunn .
Inline skater hockey
Auger played inline skater hockey for the Spaichingen Badgers during the ice hockey break in the summer of 2007 to 2010 . After moving to Rosenheim, he ended his engagement with the Badgers, who have not awarded his jersey number 12 since then.
