Don Carlos is a metropolitan church in Bukidnon Province on Mindanao Island in the Philippines . It has 66,959 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 29 barangays . It belongs to the first income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized .
Their neighboring communities are Maramag in the north, Kitaotao and Kadingilan in the south, Pangantucan in the west and Quezon in the east. The municipality is located approx. 61 km southeast of the provincial capital Malaybalay City , approx. 163 km south of the regional capital Cagayan de Oro , approx. 160 north-west of Davao City and approx. 180 km northeast of Cotabato City .
The topography of the municipality is described as gently rolling flat land. The Sinangguyan waterfall in Barangay Sinanguyan and the Kahulugan waterfall , both of which have a drop height of approx. 25 meters, are considered to be tourist attractions . The approx. 50 hectare large Pinamaloy Lake is not far from the highway; it has the shape of a box-bag bottle and is surrounded by dense vegetation.
