Doris í Garði Olafsdóttir (born July 13, 1986 ; born Joensen ) is a former Faroese soccer player who was used for her national team .

Olafsdóttir came from the youth of GÍ Gøta in the professional squad and made her debut in the first round of the Cup in 2002 in the 2-0 away defeat against B68 Toftir at the age of 15. In the league they came for the first time on matchday at 0: 9 at home against KÍ Klaksvík used. After the first season she moved to EB / Streymur and stayed there for three years, where she was in the 2004 cup final and lost there with 0:15 against KÍ Klaksvík. 2006 Olafsdottir returned for one season to GÍ Gøta and became runner-up. In 2007 and 2008 she won the championship title for KÍ Klaksvík alongside Rannvá Biskopstø Andreasen , Olga Kristina Hansen , Malena Josephsen , Bára Skaale Klakstein , Ragna Biskopstø Patawary and Randi Wardum . In both years she managed the double with a 3-0 win against GÍ Gøta and a 1-0 win against B36 Tórshavn in the cup final. In 2009 she was also in the squad, but was not used. She played for AB Argir for another three years, where she came regularly to her assignments, with the runner-up title being achieved again in 2010 and 2011. In 2011 she was also in the cup final, which was lost 1-0 to KÍ Klaksvík. In 2013 she played for city rivals HB Tórshavn , in the summer break of 2014 she finally switched to EB / Streymur / Skála and was runner-up again. After that, she ended her career.
European Cup
For KÍ Klaksvík , Olafsdóttir made six appearances in the European Cup. She played her first game in the 2007/08 UEFA Women's Cup against ADO Den Haag and scored her only goal in the competition with the goal to make it 1-1. Their last game was against Gintra Universitetas in the 2008/09 season and ended 2-2.
National team
Until 2013, Olafsdóttir played seven international matches for the Faroese national team . She came to her first use on November 23, 2006 in the European Championship qualifier against Macedonia , when she came on in the 70th minute when Heidi Heinesen was 6-0 . The away game in Strumica ended 7-0. She played her last game on April 9, 2013 in World Cup pre-qualification against Georgia , when she came on in the 89th minute of the 2-1 win in Vilnius .
