Randi Skylvsdóttir Wardum (born November 22, 1986 in Tórshavn ) is a former Faroese soccer and handball player .
Career
Soccer

Wardum began her career at the Faroese first division club HB Tórshavn , for which she was active from 2001 to 2003. She played her first game on the fifth matchday in 2001, when she came on for Annika Hansen in the 89th minute . For the 2004 season she moved to league competitor and series champion KÍ Klaksvík , with whom she won eleven national championships and eight cup wins and qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League annually . Her teammates during these years included Rannvá B. Andreasen , Malena Josephsen , Annelisa Justesen , Bára Skaale Klakstein , Ragna B. Patawary and Olga Kristina Hansen and Eyðvør Klakstein . In 2008 Wardum played for a few months at the Icelandic first division club Valur Reykjavík , with whom they could also win the national championship. As a penalty taker , she was successful several times in the league.
European Cup
Wardum played 27 games in the UEFA Women's Champions League , the first in their 2-1 loss to Metalist Kharkiv in 2004/05 and the last in their 3-1 loss to Apollon Limassol in 2014/15.
National team
Wardum completed nine international matches in the U-19 national team of the Faroe Islands until 2004. In the same year, she made her debut on October 12 in the 2-1 defeat in the friendly against Ireland in Klaksvík for the national team of their country. Wardum was with 38 international appearances, together with Malena Josephsen , record national player of the Faroe Islands. She played her last international match on September 17, 2014 in the World Cup qualifier against the Northern Irish national football team in Lurgan , which was lost 3-0.
Handball
In addition to her football career, Wardum is also active for the Faroese first division handball team Kyndil Tórshavn , where she plays in the right backcourt . With this she took part in the EHF Women's Cup 2014/15 , but failed in the second round against the Belgian representative Fémina Visé .
