The Faroese Women's Football Championship 2011 was held in the 1. Deild called first Faroese league and was the 27th season overall. It started on April 3, 2011 and ended on October 8, 2011.

The promoted B36 Tórshavn and HB Tórshavn returned to the top division after two and four years respectively. Champion was defending champion KÍ Klaksvík , who could win the title for the twelfth time in a row and for the 13th time overall.

Compared to the previous season, the goal rate worsened to 3.95 per game, which was the lowest average since 1994 . The highest victory achieved KÍ Klaksvík with a 9-0 in the home game against HB Tórshavn on the third matchday, which was also the most goal-scoring game.

In 2011/12, KÍ Klaksvík played as last year's champions in the qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League . The first game was won 1-0 against FC Mosta (Malta), in the remaining two games the team lost 4-2 to ŽFK Spartak Subotica (Serbia) and 5-0 to Glasgow City LFC (Scotland). The group was thus finished in third place.
