Dorothea Trottenberg
Dorothea Trottenberg (born August 18, 1957 in Dortmund ) is a Swiss-German librarian and translator .
Life
Dorothea Trottenberg trained as a qualified librarian . Then studied them Slavic at the University of Cologne and the Leningrad State University . She is currently in charge of the specialist department Slavic and Eastern European Studies at the University Library of Basel . She also works as a literary translator from Russian into German . Trottenberg, who is married to the Slavist Thomas Grob, lives in Zurich .
Dorothea Trottenberg is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland and of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ.
