Cold cuts from an ENTAC

ENTAC ( EN gin T éléguidé A nti- C har) or MGM-32A was a French MCLOS - anti-tank guided missile (PAL). It was developed in the early 1950s at the Franco-German research institute ISL in Saint-Louis . It was used in the French army from 1957. Production ended in 1974 after about 140,000 PALs were manufactured.

ENTAC was the forerunner or successor of a whole series of French guided missiles that eventually led to well-known, partly multinationally developed missiles such as MILAN or Exocet that are still in use today .

In addition to the French armed forces, the ENTAC anti-tank missile was also used by Norway , South Africa , the United States , Canada and Lebanon .
