Ebersberger Forst (municipality-free area)
The Ebersberger Forst is a community-free area in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg .
location and size
The forest is the eastern part of the local recreation area of the same name (see Ebersberger Forest ). Its area is 17.8183 km².
Soil monuments
In the Ebersberger Forest there are extensive burial mound fields from which some finds from the Hallstatt period were recovered.
Remnants of a section of the Roman road from Augsburg to Wels have been preserved.
