Edward McLaughlin
Edward F. McLaughlin, Jr (born August 18, 1921 in Cape Cod , † January 21, 2005 ) was an American politician ( Democrat ).
McLaughlin served in the same speedboat unit as John F. Kennedy , with whom he had been friends since that time , during World War II . He was the 60th lieutenant governor of Massachusetts from 1961 to 1963 under Republican Governor John A. Volpe . He was succeeded by Francis X. Bellotti . After his time as a politician, he worked as a lawyer for various law firms in Cape Cod.
