George Hull

George Hull ( January 8, 1788 - January 7, 1868 in Sandisfield , Massachusetts ) was an American politician . Between 1836 and 1843 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Massachusetts.

The sources on George Hull are very poor. He lived in Massachusetts and became a member of the Whig Party , founded in the 1830s . In 1836 he was elected lieutenant governor of Massachusetts. He held this office between 1836 and 1843. He was Deputy Governors Edward Everett , Marcus Morton and John Davis . He had a son with his wife, Sarah Allen. He died on January 7, 1868, the day before his 80th birthday, in Sandisfield, Berkshire County .
