Ehrenberg is a district of Hohnstein in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

geography

Ehrenberg is located east of the Saxon state capital Dresden in the north of Saxon Switzerland . It is located in the northeast of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. The Waldhufendorf , whose appearance is determined by numerous three-sided farms and the church, is located in the valley of the Ehrenberger Bach, which flows into the Schwarzbach .

Above all, slopes in the outskirts of the Ehrenberg district are forested. The vast majority of the 1135 hectares of land is used for agriculture. Neighboring the Hohnsteiner districts Ulbersdorf in the southeast, Lohsdorf in the south, Hohnstein in the west and Cunnersdorf in the northwest.
