Emre Güral (born April 5, 1989 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Player career
society
Güral was born as the son of Turkish immigrants in Offenbach am Main . Both parents came from the Turkish Aegean region . His father Ali Recai Güral was active as a football player in the lower Turkish leagues, including Bergamaspor . So he sponsored his son at an early age and enrolled him at a local football club when he was four. At the age of eight, Güral attended a draft tournament organized by Eintracht Frankfurt accompanied by his father and was scouted for the youth team here. Here he played for the next eight years , with players such as Marko Marin , Cenk Tosun and Semih Aydilek .
In 2005, the second division SpVgg Greuther Fürth Güral offered a professional contract. After consultation with his parents, he accepted the offer and spent a season at the youth boarding school in Fürth.
In the summer of 2006 he moved to the then Bayern division SSV Jahn Regensburg . In his first season the club was champion , an increase in the Regionalliga Süd on. He was in the team for two more seasons, but managed z. T. not due to age the breakthrough. Each season he completed around four to six missions. His team tried to keep him, but Güral emphasized several times his desire to play in a team in which he is regularly used.
So he decided to change for the 2009/10 season and went to SV Elversberg in the Regional Football League South . Here he was already considered "one of the greatest talents who have ever played football in Elversberg" during the move . Güral lived up to these expectations and immediately established himself as a regular player. In his first season he played 28 league games and scored eight goals. The second season was similar. He played particularly conspicuously at the DFB Cup encounter on August 14, 2010 against Hannover 96 . Here he was awarded a convincing performance and a large share in the advancement of his team. He was then associated with several Bundesliga clubs , including FC Bayern Munich .
In the course of the season he received several offers from both the Bundesliga and the Turkish Süper Lig . Güral repeated his wish to move to a team where he would have the opportunity to play regularly. He declined Bayern's offer because it mainly referred to Bayern's amateur team, which played in the same league as SV Elversberg. With the Turkish first division club Manisaspor there was also no change. In the summer of 2011 he negotiated with the Süper Lig relegated Bucaspor and accepted the offer. The decisive factor was the fact that Bucaspor was a very young team and Güral saw such a real chance to be able to play regularly. After he only played sporadically for the first six weeks due to problems with the transition, he fought for a regular place in October 2011 and became one of the shooting stars of the TFF 1st league season .
In the summer of 2012, the big Turkish teams were interested in Güral. Beşiktaş Istanbul in particular showed great interest and even announced this change. This change did not come about later. In the meantime, Güral had participated with the second selection of the Turkish national team in the tournament of Toulon and reached the runner-up. So its market value rose again. In June 2012 he then moved to Trabzonspor for a transfer fee of around € 1.46 million .
In the winter transfer period 2014/15 Güral moved to league rivals Eskişehirspor . In the summer of 2016, the first division team Antalyaspor signed him . For Antalyaspor, Güral played 34 league games and scored five goals. For the 2018/19 season he moved to Alanyaspor on a free transfer . After spending half a season at Alanyaspor with two league appearances, he moved to his former club, the second division Eskişehirspor, during the winter break of 2018/19. In January 2020 Güral moved to the regional league team Türkgücü Munich , with whom he signed a contract until the end of the season.
National team
Güral was in February 2012 for the first time for the second selection of the Turkish national team and made his international debut on February 29, 2012 in a 5-0 win against second selection Estonia . He also got his first hit.
As part of the Toulon 2012 tournament , Güral was nominated in May 2012 for the second selection of the Turkish national team . The Turkish A2 nominated players who were younger than 23 years to meet the age requirements for the tournament. The team made it to the finals and was subject to Mexico's selection. Güral was one of the top performers on his team during the tournament.
