After twelve goals in 53 competitive games, he was signed by league competitor FC Oss in summer 2016 , for whom he played all season games. At the end of the second division season, the attacker won his first award as top scorer with 33 hits. With his thirty-first goal, he broke the club's record for a season.

As a result, the honorary divisionist FC Twente Enschede became aware of Boere and awarded him a three-year contract in the summer of 2017. After relegation to the second-class Eerste Divisie , the striker, with 16 goals this season, played a major role in ensuring that Twente was able to finish the 2018/19 season as champions and celebrate direct promotion.

After another first division game for FC Twente, Boere moved to Germany for the first time during the 2019 summer transfer period after losing his regular place in preparation. The third division team KFC Uerdingen 05 equipped the Dutchman with a one-year contract. He played his first game in the neighboring country in the starting line-up at 1: 2 in Krefeld in the 2nd round of the Niederrhein Cup against Rot-Weiss Essen and scored the goal for his team. The Dutchman was a regular until matchday 31, but was not even nominated for the matchday squad afterwards.
