Mario Erb (born June 16, 1990 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . The former junior international, who was mainly used as a central defender , was trained at FC Bayern Munich and has so far mostly been active for third division clubs.
Career
societies
Erb started playing soccer at ESV Munich and, after a trial training session, moved to Bayern Munich at the age of seven . There he went through all other youth teams and was in action as a ball boy at the home games of the professionals in the Olympic Stadium . In 2007 he became German B youth champions with FC Bayern's U17s with a 1-0 win in the final at Borussia Dortmund , before moving up to the U19s, for which he was in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga Süd / Southwest made 41 appearances and scored four hits. After two short appearances in the preseason he moved up in the summer of 2009 to the amateur team of FC Bayern , which played in the third division .
After two years and 48 point games, he was relegated to the Regionalliga Süd . Erb then moved to the then second division Alemannia Aachen on a free transfer . For the Alemannia he played only six point games - also due to injury - and was sometimes used for the second team in the fifth-rate NRW league . Aachen rose as the table penultimate from the second division. In May 2012, he extended his contract, which expired at the end of the season, for the upcoming third division season for another year.
With the renewed relegation , Erb left the Aachen team and moved to the previous league competitor SpVgg Unterhaching . There he succeeded as a regular player with his team at the end of the season just about relegation. In his second year at Unterhaching, 2015 saw the fourth decline in his professional career. However, when he moved to Rot-Weiß Erfurt , Erb stayed in the 3rd division. With the Thuringians he played two years as a regular force in central defense and placed with the team in mid-table, before moving back to the west of the Republic and in 2017 the ambitious, straight into the fourth-rate Regionalliga West Ascended KFC Uerdingen joined. There, too, he became a regular player in central defense and, as team captain, made it through to third division with the Krefeld team; he was already active in that division for the fifth club.
In the summer of 2019, the KFC and Erb agreed to terminate the contract, which was still valid for one year, after which he moved to the regional league promoted Türkgücü Munich , with whom he received a two-year contract. Here he became a regular player straight away and only missed 19 minutes of the game. At the beginning of March 2020, the central defender was terminated without notice after he left the winter training camp prematurely at the end of February to go to his heavily pregnant wife. An agreement is said to have taken place with head coach Reiner Maurer , but the termination was made by the club's president Hasan Kivran . The termination was withdrawn at the end of March.
National team
After two appearances in preparatory games, Mario Erb took part with the U17 national team in the U17 World Cup , which was held in South Korea from August 18 to September 9, 2007 , and played all seven tournament games. After a semi-final defeat against Nigeria , the team trained by Heiko Herrlich came in third.
After three appearances for the U18 national team , he failed with the U19 national team in qualifying for the U19 European Championship 2009 in Ukraine against Spain . He then moved up to the U20 national team , played a total of five games for them from autumn 2009 to spring 2011 and then did not play any more international matches.
