Alexander Sorge (born April 21, 1993 in Leipzig ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with Türkgücü Munich since the 2019/20 season .
Career
Sorge began his career in the youth of SV Lipsia 93 Eutritzsch , where he was active until he moved to FC Sachsen Leipzig (2005). He was active for the club from the Leipzig district of Leutzsch until 2009 before joining the newly founded city rival RB Leipzig . At RasenBallsport Leipzig he was used in various youth teams and at the beginning of the 2012/13 season he was part of the squad of the club's second team. Later he was captain of the team and he was promoted to the Oberliga Nordost as master of the Sachsenliga (2014) and promotion to the Regionalliga Nordost as master of the Oberliga Nordost (2015). In the 2015/16 season, the central defender was in the squad of the first team of RB Leipzig against 1. FC Union Berlin on the fifth match day of the 2nd Bundesliga . However, he was not used and was not nominated for the rest of the season for the first team squad.
At the beginning of June 2016, FSV Zwickau announced the commitment of Alexander Sorge for the 2016/17 season. His first game for the third division promoted team was played on the first match day of the 2016/17 season in a 2-2 draw between Saxony and the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . On September 27, 2016, Sorge tore a cruciate ligament during a training duel and was out for the rest of the season.
Following the third league season 2018/19 the defender FSV Zwickau left after three years and signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year in the League Bavaria ascended Türkgücü Munich .
