Engelbert Schramm (lawyer)

Engelbert Liborius Schramm (* 1778 ; † 1857 ) was a German lawyer and Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf .

Schramm studied law and graduated with a doctorate . He began a career as a judge and was appointed Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf in April 1815. He held this office until June 1820, when he became a district judge at the newly created district court in Düsseldorf . He later became president of the regional court.
