Leopold Custodis

Leopold Custodis (* 1762 ; † 1837 ) was Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf .

Leopold Wilhelm Custodis was the Jülich-Bergischer accounting commissioner. He was first second, then first alderman of the city of Düsseldorf. In March 1824 he was temporarily appointed Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf. However, he only held this office until October of the same year. The Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf was founded during his tenure .
