Georg Glock (* 1891 ; † December 6, 1959 in Düsseldorf ) was a German SPD politician and Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf from 1956 to 1959 .

Life and work

In June 1945 Glock belonged to a trust committee of the citizens , which was appointed by the occupation authorities . On December 6, 1959, he died of a heart attack in his office .

Public offices

Glock was mayor of Düsseldorf from 1946 to 1956 . After the local elections in October 1956, he became mayor, which he remained until his death.
