Erhard Telle
Erhard Telle (born January 20, 1933 in Haynsburg , † April 7, 1991 in Strausberg ) was a major general of the National People's Army of the German Democratic Republic .
Life and career
Erhard Telle was born the son of a carpenter in Haynsburg. After graduating from school, he learned the trade of a locksmith from 1947 to 1951 and obtained the partial high school diploma in basic subjects. He then worked as a machine fitter until 1952.

Military career
Education and Uses
Erhard Telle occurred on 28 August 1952 as a volunteer applicants to the armed forces of the GDR and attended immediately as a cadet officer school of kasernierte volkspolizei in Kamenz, later OHS LSK / LV . After passing the final exam and being appointed officer, he was assigned his first service in 1954 in the rank of sub-lieutenant until 1957 as a technician for a flying chain in the 7th Fighter Wing . After a two-year candidate period, he became a member of the SED in 1955 . In 1957 the first staff assignment followed as a senior officer for general repairs in the command staff of the 3rd LVD, which had been set up a short time before . This was followed by his first management assignment as head of aviation engineering in the command staff of the 1st LVD from 1961 .
After that, E. Telle completed a degree from 1966 to 1968 at the Technical University of Dresden . After successfully completing his degree, E. Telle came here as a major Dipl.-Ing.-Öko. to the officers' school of the LSK / LV and was employed there until the beginning of 1972 as head of aviation engineering.
In the same year E. Telle became head of the maintenance and repair department in the LSK / LV command in Strausberg for the chief aviation engineering service .
Service as a general
At the end of 1972 he was appointed head of aviation engineering in the LSK / LV command in Strausberg . In this post he was promoted to colonel and on October 7, 1980 he was appointed major general. Until the end of his service on May 30, 1990 GenMaj Telle remained in the prominent position of chief aviation engineer service .
