The Air Force / Air Defense Command (short: Kdo. LSK / LV ) was the command staff and at the same time command command of the NVA Air Force , a part of the East German NVA .
history
On March 1, 1956, the day the NVA was founded, the Air Force Administration (LSK) under Major General Zorn and the Air Defense Administration (LV) under Colonel Bauer were formed as independent management staff. Both org units were merged on May 31, 1957 and then formed the Kdo. LSK / LV. The common office was the Lambert-Horn-Kaserne (name since 1967) in Strausberg .
With the decommissioning of the NVA in 1990, the Kdo. LSK / LV was dissolved. The property will be retained and will be used by the Bundeswehr.
