Ernst Sünderhauf (born January 19, 1908 in Lichtentanne , Zwickau district , † October 3, 1974 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

career

Sünderhauf attended a business school and completed an administration apprenticeship in Lichtentanne from 1922. In 1926 he became a member of the SPD. From 1930 to 1933 he was an employee of the Central Association of Employees .

After the Second World War , Sünderhauf was secretary and cashier of the SPD Berlin and from 1946 a member of the district assembly in the Reinickendorf district . In 1951 he was elected to the district councilor for finances in Reinickendorf. In the 1958 election to the House of Representatives , he was elected, but rejected the mandate. Even after the 1963 election , he left after a few months. From 1959 to 1968 Sünderhauf was Senate Director ( State Secretary ) in the Senate of Berlin , including from 1961 to 1963 as head of the Berlin Senate Chancellery . In 1968 he became President of the Berlin Court of Auditors until he retired in 1973.

Sünderhauf received the Ernst Reuter badge in 1973 for his services .
