Ernst Friedrich Arnold Karl Georg von Eine (born October 12, 1856 in Herzberg ; † May 6, 1931 in Braunschweig ) was a Prussian lieutenant general in the First World War .

family

One was the son of the royal Hanoverian Rittmeister George August von Eine (1822-1858) and his wife Julie, née von Hedemann (1831-1883). He was the younger brother of Colonel General Karl von Eine . One was married to Elisabeth Kemper on September 16, 1879.

Military career

On April 15, 1876, one was transferred from the cadet corps to the Hanoverian Fusilier Regiment 73 of the Prussian Army as a second lieutenant . There he was from September 27, 1879 to September 12, 1884 Adjutant of the II. Battalion and then attended the Academy of War from October 1 of the year to July 20, 1887 , where he had been promoted to Premier Lieutenant on October 16, 1886 . From March 20, 1888 to September 20, 1889 he was a regimental adjutant and then until December 17, 1891 under position à la suite of his regiment as an adjutant to the 33rd Infantry Brigade . On April 14, 1907 he was appointed Colonel and Commander of the Braunschweig Infantry Regiment No. 92 and on March 20, 1911, he took command of the 40th Infantry Brigade of the 20th Division . On August 14, 1913, he was appointed commandant of Spandau.

During the First World War, one was Lieutenant General from October 3 to December 17, 1914, in command of the 1st Landwehr Division .
