The Estadio Metropolitano Ciudad de Itagüí , also known as Estadio de Ditaires , is a football stadium in the Colombian municipality of Itagüí in the Antioquia department near Medellín . It has space for 12,000 spectators and serves as the home of the Colombian first division club Leones FC .

The Estadio Metropolitano Ciudad de Itagüí was built in 1994. The stadium also has a track for athletics competitions.

At the South American Games 2010 in Medellín, some competitions were held in the stadium in Itagüí.

From 2008 to 2014 the stadium served as the home ground for Itagüí FC , which rose to the first division in 2011. The club moved to Pereira in 2014 and has played as Rionegro Águilas in Rionegro since 2015 . Itagüí FC moved due to conflicts between the Itagüí city council and the club, which could only be resolved in 2016.

Leones FC has been playing in Itagüí since 2016 . The club, which was previously based in Rionegro, Bello , Turbo and Envigado , rose to the top division in 2017.
