The Estadio La Independencia ( German  Stadium of Independence ) is a football stadium in the Colombian city ​​of Tunja . It has space for 25,000 spectators and is the home of the Colombian clubs Boyacá Chicó and Patriotas Boyacá . The sports facility is owned by Indeportes Boyacá.

The Estadio La Independencia was built during the reign of the dictator Gustavo Rojas Pinilla . It was renovated and modernized for the Juegos Nacionales 2000. In the 1990s, the club Lanceros Boyacá played its home games in the stadium. Patriotas Boyacá has been playing at the Estadio La Independencia since 2003, initially in the second division and, since promotion in 2011, in the first division . In addition, in 2005 the then first division club Boyacá Chicó moved from Bogotá to Tunja, who became champions in 2008. A major modernization of the stadium took place because of Boyacá Chicó's participation in the Copa Libertadores, where the capacity was increased from 8,500 to 25,000 spectators.
