Esther Heesch (born September 6, 1996 in Lübeck ) is a German model .

Career

Heesch was discovered at the end of 2011 at the age of 15 in Hamburg by the scout of a model agency and signed a contract there. Her breakthrough came with the Christian Dior Couture Show in Paris in July 2012.

Shortly thereafter, she ran five shows at Berlin Fashion Week . In 2012 she was three times on the cover of D-magazine and once on the cover of Danish ELLE .

In spring 2013 she ran 55 shows at international fashion weeks in New York , Milan and Paris and another 44 in autumn 2013. She ran for Prada , Chanel , Calvin Klein , Valentino , Céline , Miu Miu , Chloé , Dolce & Gabbana, among others , Loewe , Isabel Marant , Roland Mouret , Lanvin , Dries Van Noten , Salvatore Ferragamo , Emilio Pucci , Sonia Rykiel , Hermès , Armani Privé , Elie Saab , Alexander McQueen , Stella McCartney and Paco Rabanne .

In 2012 and 2013 she appeared in several editorials in magazines, including the Italian, German, Japanese and Turkish VOGUE , Dazed and Confused , iD , Interview , Vanity Fair .

She had further engagements in 2012 and 2013 for the advertising campaigns of Chloé , Emporio Armani , Valentino and Closed . In 2014 she was the face of the Tom Ford and Valentino Spring / Summer 2014 campaigns.

Private life

Heesch's mother is a goldsmith , her father a doctor . She has an older sister and a younger brother. She has been dancing ballet since she was 7 years old . She also loves surfing , traveling and the city of Copenhagen , where her father's family comes from.
